
U.S. Economic Policy: Its Domestic and Global Implications
This course aims to engage students in an examination and analysis of contemporary economic policies that impact the domestic and international scene,
and to evaluate the effectiveness of current and/or proposed policies.
Upon completion of this study students will learn about the impact of American economic policy on the nation and globally. Based on the premise that the
20th century has been termed the "American Century", students will learn how this came about and its domestic and global implication as well as the
evolution and growth of the United States economy.
Lastly the course will analyze how the U.S. commenced the century as a nation with great potential, but essentially uninvolved in the international
geopolitical game, yet but by the end of the century its role had fundamentally changed.

Women in Business and Management
In this course students will explore the effect of gender within the contemporary business organization, with the primary emphasis being the major
emergence and impact of females in the business arena and at the highest levels of corporate structure, and the ensuing challenges and opportunities that they face.
